Energy efficiency jobs get a jolt from federal government

Counting on an infusion of federal stimulus funds, states and private firms plan to expand a workforce that will upgrade buildings. The Obama administration estimates the first wave of stimulus efficiency spending will employ 87,000 people, with continued plans to steadily expand the burgeoning workforce in that sector for years to come.
